As Java Developer you will make a substantial contribution to the next generation of mission-critical systems at Schiphol! The technology stack of these platforms will be modernized to meet the strategic IT goals of 'Flexibility & Reliability'.How you achieve results in this? That's up to you. We trust in the way you find a solution for every problem. You put your talents to work at:

• Developing a modular monolith and being part of Domain Driven Design discussions.
• Building cloud agnostic applications to run in Kubernetes.
• Developing an event-based distribution system.
• Working closely with our strategic technology partner at a near shore location.
• Bringing in ideas and concepts for complex challenges.

The applications are all Java built, using a relational database and are deployed in containers. Numerous application migrations will be executed in a phased order to guarantee business continuity. Next to these platform improvements, we will also improve our CI/CD pipelines, test automation and work practices.

• Java Development: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant Java development role (must have).
• CI/CD Pipelines: Proficiency in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines, with a strong preference for experience with Azure DevOps.
• Spring Boot: Experience working with Spring Boot, including designing and developing robust applications (nice to have).
• Front-end Development: Hands-on experience with front-end development, particularly in React and TypeScript.
• RESTful APIs: Expertise in designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIs.

You get this

• € 4744 to € 6582 gross per month (Schaal 12).
• A 13th month (year-end bonus).
• The possibility to work 4 x 9 hours in a 36-hour work week.
• An allowance when working from home of €3.00 net per day.
