Wat ga je doen?

In your role as all-round warehouse assistant, you will be responsible for carrying out the daily logistics process: receiving, stocking, order picking, packing and shipping products. You will assemble shipments and also perform light administrative tasks. You will also have other responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading goods from containers.
• Checking incoming goods.
• Storing received products in the correct storage location.
• Picks and packs finished goods using barcode scanners.
• Operating forklift, reach truck and EPT.
• Preparing materials for shipment.
• Taking periodic inventory.

In addition, we have a refrigerated goods department with the following responsibilities:

• Putting away goods and entering them into PeopleSoft;
• Ordering dry ice;
• Cleaning and keeping clean of the work area;
• Cleaning and defrosting cold goods.

Jouw kwaliteiten

You will be considered for this position if you have experience in a logistics function and if driving a reach truck suits you well! You will be working with glass and ceramics, so dropping a box is not an option. It is therefore important that you already have a valid certificate. Furthermore, it is important that:

• You enjoy working as a real all-rounder.
• You have a good command of Dutch and/or English, it is an American company where English is communicated.
• You have at least 1-2 years' experience driving a forklift and reach truck and have valid certificates.
• You can work with computers.

• A gross hourly wage of €14;
• You will work Monday to Wednesday from 6:30 am - 3 pm
• You work Thursday and Friday from 8:30 am - 5 pm
• Travel allowance of €0.21/km (max €6.36 per day) or public transport reimbursement;

If it is very busy, we ask for your flexibility to help out, of course this is always by mutual agreement. And this is also rewarded with a 50% bonus on your hours worked.
